Canned Commercial Dog Food
Now we know that what to feed your dog does not consist of dry grain type or cereal type ingredients. So I guess we can just feed them the meat type products out of the can. I don’t think so!
The meats or should I say supposed meats in a lot of premium brand canned dog foods are not always real. They can be soy-based meat looking mixtures that are definitely not good for your dog. After spending just a few minutes searching the net I found a premium named canned dog food that actually had “Rice” listed in the title of the product. Not to mention that when I looked at the ingredients the meat listed certainly did not appear to be real. Probably soy-based. A good tip if you must buy canned commercial dog food is to always make sure that the first ingredient is meat. Like turkey, chicken, beef etc. Not a meat-meal, or meat by-product. Another tip is to make sure that there is no “artificial” anything and also no sugar (empty carbs). Now these foods may cost more, but are definitely worth for your pet.
