Commercial Dog Food
There are a lot of people these days that don’t think commercial dog food is what it presents itself to be. “Its garbage” and “It’s killing your dog!” are things I’m reading about more and more.
Even vets are agreeing that this food is quite bad. But for most people who have very hectic lifestyles this food saves time, money and is very convenient. “The packages say they are healthy, shouldn’t we believe them?” Probably not.
A lot of commercial dog foods these days have grains as their main ingredients. Wheat, rice, soy, and corn based products are among the main types. These are simply not good for your dog. They can cause kidney problems, diabetes, and obesity just to name a few. Dogs are carnivores and are meant mainly to eat meat. Their digestion systems and the obvious one, their teeth structure with the fangs for ripping flesh are clear signs of how they are supposed to eat.
